1 fresh organic banana 1/2 cup other fresh or dry fruit 1 cup non-dairy ice cream 1/3 cup 100% juice or water
We use Rice Dream frozen dessert cream in place of dairy ice cream. If you don't have a need to avoid dairy, you can just use regular ice cream. That makes the recipe a bit less healthy, but just as tasty.
When using dry fruit, boil it for a half a minute in a bit of water to reconstitute it to maintain the smoothness of the smoothie. Otherwise it'll come out chunky.
Mix all the ingredients in your blender, and mix until it's the right consistency.
